About Me!
Hey!! I’m Kyle Hendricks – thanks for stopping by!
I’m a singer, actor, dancer, tennis fanatic, Philly sports devotee, and former Guinness World Record holder. Originally from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, I recently graduated from the University of Miami (Go Canes!) with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Sports Medicine. I’m currently based in NYC on the Upper West Side!
From a young age, I’ve never been one to sit still—whether I was staging a self-written cabaret in my sister’s tutu or juggling five different sports teams. At ten years old, I convinced my parents to let me start voice lessons, which led to my first musical: The Music Man Jr. I played Jacey Squires in a suit four sizes too big, and I was hooked.
Besides sharing a name with a legendary Cubs pitcher, I believe there is more overlap between theater and sports than people realize. As a kid, I was drawn to the performance of athletics but struggled to see myself in that world without visible gay male role models. Today, I’m passionate about bridging that gap—working on projects that champion inclusivity in sports and bring the same openness found in the theater community. (Also, yes—being in a musical version of Challengers is on my bucket list.)
Recently, my friends and family have started playing “Where in the World is Kyle?” because I’ve been traveling constantly between contracts. In the past year alone, I’ve visited ten countries, and immersing myself in new cultures is one of my greatest passions. Scroll down to see some of the adventures I’ve been lucky enough to experience!
