About Me!
Hey!! I’m Kyle Hendricks – thanks for stopping by!
I’m an actor, singer, model, dancer, tennis fanatic, and former Guinness World Record holder. Originally from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, I graduated from the University of Miami (Go Canes!) with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Sports Medicine. I recently made the move to NYC, and have been hit hard by my first winter in 5 years!
From a young age, I’ve never been one to sit still—whether I was staging a self-written cabaret in my sister’s tutu or juggling five different sports teams. However among all of these different passions, one thing has held firm: my love for storytelling.
Since graduating, some of my favorite stories I’ve told include my Off-Broadway Debut as Matt in “Fugitive Songs”, “Rebel Genius” at Forestburgh Playhouse, and “The Play That Goes Wrong” at Pickleville Playhouse.
Most recently, I cofounded my own production company, "Shall We Yap?”, a place for performers to tell their own stories, then bleed seamlessly into song, reframing a well-known song into their context. Our inaugural cabaret was a smash hit, selling sold out Green Room 42 and receiving rave reviews.
I’ve also recently explored storytelling through modeling, walking in NYFW 2025 for Retrospective Vintage and expressing designers’ stories on the runway.
Besides sharing a name with a legendary Cubs pitcher, I believe there is more overlap between theater and sports than people realize. As a kid, I was drawn to the performance of athletics but struggled to see myself in that world without visible gay male role models. Today, I’m passionate about bridging that gap—working on projects that champion inclusivity in sports and bring the same openness found in the theater community. (Also, yes—being in a musical version of Challengers is on my bucket list.)
Recently, my friends and family have started playing “Where in the World is Kyle?” because I’ve been traveling constantly between contracts. In the past year alone, I’ve visited ten countries. Immersing myself in new cultures is one of my favorite things. Scroll down to see some of the adventures I’ve been lucky enough to experience!
